Same One&Only Royal Mirage location, but the dining moves into a luxury gazebo strung with hanging lanterns, which changes the light completely once the sun's down. A heart shaped frame with neon sign or large MARRY ME LED letters sits in your chosen colour, with matching floral decor, rose petals and 300 LED candles for a sophisticated, warm glow. Dinner is a three course Pan Asian menu, served with a free flow of soft beverages and proper butler service throughout. It leans slightly more elegant than the BBQ version next door. Photographer and videographer cover the proposal and dinner, handbag bouquet included.

Are the hanging lanterns real flame?
No. Overhead flame is not permitted at hotel beach venues, and open candles would not hold in coastal wind anyway. These are lit and stable.
Do lanterns overhead change how the photographs look?
Yes, and it is the reason to choose this. Light from above fills faces properly, where ground candles alone light from below and cast harder shadows.
Can the gazebo be moved closer to the water?
Position is set by the hotel and by where the structure can safely stand. I will get you as close as the beach allows and tell you where that is beforehand.
Is a gazebo better than a cabana for a windy evening?
Yes. A gazebo has more structure and holds its shape. On an exposed beach in winter that matters more than the styling does.
How many courses is too many before proposing?
Propose first and the number stops mattering. Every time someone proposes at dessert, the meal before it is wasted on nerves.
