This is the version with a story built into it. After dune bashing out to a quiet desert water oasis, you're welcomed with Arabic coffee and dates the way locals actually do it, then settle into a large gazebo lounge as the sky turns orange. A red, white or pink heart frame and a neon sign set the scene, a rose petal walkway leads her in, and 500 LED candles hold the light once the sun's gone. Dinner is butler served, there's a live belly dancer show before the fire show closes things out, and a chilled Prosecco keeps the toast going. Photographer and videographer catch it all, right down to the handbag bouquet at the end.

Are the belly dancer and fire show performed for other guests too?
No. Both are private and performed for the two of you. There is no camp, no other tables and nobody watching from a neighbouring setup.
How far is the private oasis from central Dubai?
Around an hour each way, inside a desert conservation area. Build that into your evening, because the drive back after dinner is not short.
Is a fire show allowed at any desert location?
No. Fire needs the right site, the right operator and approvals, which is why it sits in the private oasis packages and not on a hotel beach.
When in the evening should I actually propose here?
At sunset, before dinner. Propose after the food and she has spent two hours wondering why you are quiet. Ask first and the rest of the night belongs to you both.
Is this too much for someone who dislikes attention?
Performances are private but they are still performances, and she is the audience. If that would make her tense, take a candlelit setup without entertainment instead.
