A private chauffeur driven car collects you and takes you straight to the helipad, no queues, no waiting around. From there it's a 12 minute private helicopter tour over Dubai's most recognisable landmarks, building up the moment gradually as the city unfolds below. As you descend for landing, a large WILL YOU MARRY ME banner comes into view, timed so she sees it from the air before you've even touched down. An exclusive photoshoot on the tarmac follows once you're back on solid ground. Photographer and videographer capture the flight, the banner and the moment itself, door to door.

Do you propose in the air or on the ground?
She reads the banner from the air on descent, you propose on the tarmac when you land. Proposing inside a helicopter does not work, the noise is severe and there is no room.
Is twelve minutes long enough for a helicopter proposal?
It covers the Burj Al Arab, the Palm and the coastline, which is the part worth seeing. Longer routes exist if you want them, but the flight is the buildup, not the moment.
Are there weight or passenger restrictions?
Yes, helicopter operators work to strict weight limits. Give me both passenger weights when you book so nothing is a surprise at the helipad.
Can we film inside the helicopter ourselves?
Phones are usually fine, mounted equipment is not. My crew shoots the banner, the descent and the tarmac, which is where the usable footage is anyway.
Is a helicopter proposal doable on a short trip to Dubai?
Yes, it is one of the easiest to fit into a tight itinerary. Half a morning covers it, transfers included, which suits a three or four day visit.
