A floral heart shaped frame with neon sign or large marquee MARRY ME letters sits in your colour of choice, with matching floral decor, 300 LED candles and a rose petal rug underneath. On its own this is a straightforward proposal package, quick and focused, but you can add a private dinner with romantic dining setup, free flow soft beverages and butler service for an extra AED 2,499 if you'd rather turn it into a full evening. Photographer and videographer capture it either way, and she keeps a handbag bouquet with a personal note.

Both, for different reasons. Sunset gives colour behind the towers, darkness gives lit skyline and reflection. Arrive at sunset and stay into the dark and you get both.
Can dinner be added to a rooftop proposal here?
Yes, as a private dining setup with butler service. Tell me when you book rather than after, because the terrace timing changes if food is involved.
Is the Marina skyline recognisable in photographs?
Very. It is one of the most identifiable skylines in the region, which matters if you want people to know where you proposed without being told.
Are drones allowed for filming on a Marina rooftop?
No. Drone use in Dubai needs clearance and most urban locations do not permit it. My team uses a pole rig instead, which gets height without the paperwork.
Marina or Downtown for a first proposal in Dubai?
Downtown if the Burj Khalifa is the image in her head. Marina if you want water, towers and a warmer skyline. Neither is better, they photograph differently.
