A secluded poolside cabana at One&Only The Palm, available after sunset for real privacy. You get access to a private air conditioned indoor lounge as well as the outdoor terrace where the proposal actually happens, under a large floral heart shaped frame with a neon sign in your choice of red, white or pink. Fresh rose petals and matching floral decor surround 200 LED candles for a warm glow. A three course dinner follows, toasted with a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. Your private photographer and videographer document the reveal and the dinner, and you leave with edited photos and a highlight reel on top of all the raw footage.

Is a poolside proposal a good idea in summer?
It is one of the few that is. An air conditioned indoor lounge next to the terrace means you can propose outside and sit inside, which open venues cannot offer.
Is the pool area closed off for us?
The cabana area is private rather than the whole pool. It is secluded and set apart, but this is a working resort and I would not describe it as empty.
Will other guests be swimming during the proposal?
It runs after sunset when pool use has dropped off. That timing is deliberate rather than incidental.
Poolside or the beach at the same resort?
Poolside for seclusion, shelter and air conditioning. Beach for sand and open water in the photographs. In July the pool wins and it is not close.
Does an indoor lounge ruin the outdoor feel?
No, because the proposal happens on the terrace. The lounge is where you go afterwards, which means the photographs stay outside and the evening stays comfortable.
